Hi, I’m Eric. I believe that great brands are compelling, actionable, and true – two out of the three won’t do, it must be a blend of each one.

Growing up in Colorado, I spent my childhood climbing rocks, riding bikes, and camping with my family. This is where my love of the outdoors flourished. I learned to respect and appreciate nature, wildlife, and the environment. I would flip over rocks to see what was underneath, pause to look at the shapes of the leaves and bark of the trees I climbed, and slowed down enough to appreciate the details and design that surrounded me. Those childhood experiences shaped my approach to design today and set the tone for my career path as a UX Designer.

General Assembly Immersive
October 2018-Present

User Experience Design Immersive, a 10-week course focusing on UX Design, UX tools, UX techniques, and projects with real clients. I learned the latest software, research techniques, and effective processes to create meaningful digital products for Denver-area clients.

• Synthesize research, annotate navigation, functionality and organizational structure
• Work with lead web developers to deliver organized and development ready files
• Lead and conduct user interviews
• Collaborate with other team members and developers to define functionality and navigation
• Use rapid prototyping tools to simulate proposed designs to better judge user experience
• Observe and improve existing user experience interactions
• Create personas, storyboards, scenarios, user flows, wireframes and mockups
• Collect, synthesize, and use research data to make design decisions
• Identify target audiences, recruit participants, conduct interviews, and deploy surveys
• Present UX/UI solutions
